If a user has forgotten his password, he can request to change it.
This is possible via the Forgot password? page, which can be accessed by following the link on the login page.
The request form requires the email address of the respective user.
For security reasons, the password request form will always return a success message, independent of the actual operation performed. Of course, the system only sends an email if the email address provided is valid and available in the system.
Consequently, the user will receive an email from the system which contains a link. The linked page will allow to provide a new password.
Since passwords are encrypted, they can only be changed but not retrieved by the system.
